Rehabilitation / Reunification

The CPI provides necessary services including food, clothing, boarding and education to rescued destitute and neglected children under one roof. It aspires to:

  • Rehabilitate the street/neglected/exploited/abused children
  • Provide support to the families of rescued children for rehabilitation
  • Provide temporary shelter to rescued children
  • Provide medical examination and health care
  • Provide basic education and recreation

Post-rescue psycho-social counselling and support

The rescued children residing in CPI mostly belong to under privileged, destitute background and have experienced trauma, exploitation or abuse. The CPI provides her/him psychological counselling and medical care to help recover from any trauma, fears, anxiety, anger, stress and disruptive behavioral problems and to ensure ongoing safety and well-being. This could include therapy, educational support, and regular check-ins by a social worker or case manager.
